More Figure drawings practice...

Figure drawing from last week at Cogswell. All 2-5 minute poses here. Took the sketches home and decided to add some lighting/tone.

Here are some ideas for the super Buff Guys that performed in the circus. Tried a different approach with drawing straight into photoshop with the pencil tool. pretty neat line quality.

I'm working on a theme based off of early 1900's Circus (i.e. P.T. Barnum's Circus), and I'm find so many interesting aspects that really make great attributes in characters based off of real Circus performers.

It was nice to get back into some old time sketching practice.

Cogswell 9-18-08...GREAT model that night.

I hadn't practiced figure drawings in awhile, and I was prepped to go draw..hoping it be a fanastic model..and it was! Someone I had never drawn, and he had great dramatic poses for 3 hrs.

Trying something different....

Here's my go at drawing a Sci-fi character, just to challenge myself from the usual cute and cuddly.
